About the Role: As an ICU Registrar, you will play a crucial role in providing critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring they receive the necessary treatment for life-threatening conditions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide critical care and monitor patients in the ICU. - Assess and stabilize critically ill patients, performing necessary diagnostic tests and procedures. - Administer medications under physician supervision. - Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff. - Maintain and update patient records, including vital signs and treatment plans. - Assist in the management of life-support equipment used in the ICU. - Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding their condition. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. - Participate in daily rounds and ICU team meetings. - Stay current with medical advancements in critical care.
