Your Core Responsibilities: - Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms, to diagnose and monitor a wide range of medical conditions. - Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including surgeons, oncologists, and physicians, to provide accurate imaging results and assist in treatment planning. - Perform specialized imaging procedures, such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and interventional radiology techniques, as required. - Ensure high-quality imaging through proper use and maintenance of imaging equipment, as well as accurate patient positioning during scans. - Communicate findings effectively to physicians, patients, and other healthcare providers, providing clear and actionable reports. - Monitor patient progress and follow up on imaging results to assess the success of treatments or track disease progression. - Advise on and implement imaging protocols and techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care outcomes. - Stay updated on the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and advancements in the field of radiology. - Provide guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and other healthcare staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
