Your Core Responsibilities: - Diagnose and interpret medical images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms, to identify various conditions and diseases. - Collaborate with referring physicians to provide insights on imaging results, contributing to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. - Perform and interpret interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies, drainage, and catheter insertions, under imaging guidance. - Ensure proper image quality by selecting appropriate imaging techniques and settings to obtain the most accurate results. - Supervise and guide radiologic technologists in the proper use of imaging equipment and safety protocols. - Maintain patient records and imaging results, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and medical standards. - Advise patients on the preparation required for specific imaging tests and procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in imaging technology and radiology practices to provide the highest level of diagnostic care. - Work with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, surgeons, and cardiologists, to offer comprehensive patient care based on imaging results.
