About the Role: As a Duty Doctor, you will provide essential medical care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide round-the-clock medical care to patients in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities. - Perform initial patient assessments, take medical histories, and order necessary diagnostic tests. - Monitor and manage the condition of admitted patients, updating treatment plans as needed. - Administer medications, injections, and treatments as per doctor’s prescriptions or protocols. - Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and stabilization. - Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. - Document patient progress, clinical findings, and treatment provided in medical records. - Communicate with patient families to update them about the patient’s condition and treatment plans. - Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics, and patient confidentiality standards. - Participate in clinical rounds, report critical cases to senior doctors, and assist in procedures when required.
