Your Core Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat patients with various types of cancers, including breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and hematological malignancies. - Develop personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, based on patient diagnosis and medical history. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, and dietitians, to deliver comprehensive cancer care. - Provide supportive care, managing side effects of treatments, and improving the quality of life for cancer patients. - Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor treatment effectiveness, progression, and any adverse reactions. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies, CT scans, MRIs, and blood work, to guide treatment decisions. - Educate patients and their families about cancer, treatment options, and potential side effects, ensuring informed decision-making. - Stay updated with the latest research, clinical trials, and advancements in oncology to provide cutting-edge care. - Maintain detailed patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with healthcare regulations.
