About the Role: As a Pulmonologist at Apex Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating respiratory disorders, ensuring optimal lung health for our patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat respiratory disorders, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and lung infections. - Conduct pulmonary function tests, chest X-rays, CT scans, and other diagnostic procedures. - Develop treatment plans for chronic lung conditions, advising on medications and lifestyle modifications. - Provide critical care for patients with respiratory failure, managing mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy. - Manage patients with sleep disorders and recommend appropriate treatments. - Educate patients on preventive measures, including smoking cessation and managing allergies. - Collaborate with other specialists to manage complex pulmonary cases. - Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and lung biopsies. - Stay updated on advancements in pulmonology.
