About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive clinical care to patients, ensuring their health and well-being during critical times.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide clinical care for patients in the obstetrics and gynecology department, including labor and delivery management. - Assist in surgeries related to gynecology, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and other procedures. - Supervise and mentor junior residents and medical students in the department. - Conduct patient assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical exams. - Manage and coordinate treatment plans for obstetric and gynecological patients. - Monitor and support patients during prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care. - Participate in emergency care and management of obstetric complications like eclampsia and preeclampsia. - Collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients. - Participate in academic activities, including presenting case studies, attending seminars, and conducting research. - Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and operative reports.
