Your Core Responsibilities: - Diagnosing neurological conditions, such as brain tumors, spinal disorders, and traumatic injuries. - Conducting detailed patient assessments and reviewing medical histories and diagnostic imaging. - Performing complex surgeries on the brain, spine, and nervous system to treat conditions like tumors, aneurysms, spinal cord injuries, and congenital disorders. - Developing and implementing treatment plans for pre-surgical and post-surgical care. - Collaborating with other medical specialists, such as neurologists, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation therapists. - Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure optimal recovery. - Providing guidance and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options. - Managing and updating patient records, including surgical outcomes, complications, and progress. - Keeping abreast of advancements in neurosurgery techniques, technologies, and treatments. - Participating in ongoing research and clinical trials to improve treatment methods for neurological conditions.
