Your Core Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. - Perform eye exams to assess vision, detect abnormalities, and determine appropriate treatment plans. - Conduct surgical procedures such as cataract removal, laser surgeries, and corrective eye surgeries. - Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and address any complications following eye surgeries. - Prescribe corrective lenses or medications to manage vision problems or eye conditions. - Educate patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and the management of chronic eye diseases. - Collaborate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive care. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate new techniques in treatment. - Manage emergencies related to eye trauma or acute vision loss. - Maintain accurate patient records, including examination findings, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
