About the Role: As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to patients, conducting thorough examinations, and collaborating with physicians to develop effective treatment plans.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients to assess their health status and medical history. - Diagnose illnesses, diseases, and injuries by evaluating symptoms, medical tests, and other diagnostic tools. - Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers. - Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by supervising physicians. - Provide emergency care, including stabilization of patients, and manage acute medical conditions. - Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary. - Counsel patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care. - Perform medical procedures, including but not limited to suturing, wound care, biopsies, injections, and minor surgeries. - Assist in major surgeries as required, providing support during operations and ensuring patient safety. - Ensure proper follow-up care for patients post-procedure or post-surgery, providing instructions and recommendations.
