About the Role: As a Radiologist at HCL Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing conditions through medical imaging. Your expertise will directly impact patient care and treatment decisions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Interpreting and analyzing medical images (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, etc.) to diagnose conditions. - Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to determine appropriate imaging procedures for patients. - Ensuring the accurate documentation and reporting of imaging results. - Discussing findings with referring doctors to recommend further action or treatment. - Performing interventional procedures, such as biopsies or injections, when necessary. - Monitoring patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort. - Keeping abreast of advancements in radiology technologies and best practices. - Providing guidance and training to junior radiologists and medical staff. - Adhering to radiation safety standards and ensuring compliance with medical regulations. - Maintaining patient confidentiality and providing clear communication regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
