About the Role: As an Emergency General Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients in emergency situations.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conducting comprehensive medical assessments and physical examinations of patients. - Diagnosing common illnesses, infections, chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), and minor injuries. - Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments based on patient diagnosis and clinical guidelines. - Developing treatment plans and providing ongoing care and management for chronic health conditions. - Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and ECGs, to support clinical decision-making. - Educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and medication management. - Referring patients to specialists or advanced care providers when necessary. - Monitoring patient progress, reviewing test results, and adjusting treatments as needed. - Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, including treatment plans and patient histories. - Ensuring timely follow-ups and providing necessary support for the patient's overall well-being.
