About the Role: As an Interventional Neurology Consultant, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions, utilizing advanced imaging and interventional techniques.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions using advanced imaging and interventional techniques. - Performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, and endovascular coiling. - Collaborating with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. - Using imaging techniques to guide minimally invasive procedures. - Managing acute neurological emergencies using interventional methods. - Monitoring patient progress post-procedure and adjusting treatment plans. - Educating patients and their families about treatment options and expected outcomes. - Conducting clinical research and staying updated on advancements in interventional neurology. - Providing expert consultation and second opinions for complex cases. - Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff involved in procedures.
