About the Role: As an Interventional Pulmonology Consultant, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex pulmonary diseases, significantly impacting patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnosing complex pulmonary diseases through advanced imaging, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic tools. - Performing interventional procedures such as bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), stent placement, and tumor biopsy. - Managing airway disorders, including removing blockages and treating lung infections. - Collaborating with thoracic surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists. - Monitoring patients before, during, and after interventional procedures. - Providing advanced care for patients with severe respiratory conditions. - Educating patients on respiratory health and treatment options. - Conducting research on new interventional pulmonology techniques. - Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. - Mentoring and training junior staff in interventional pulmonology techniques.
