Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating surgical teams to provide exceptional care for patients with neurological disorders.
How You'll Contribute: - Oversee and coordinate teams of surgeons and nurses in the operating theater. - Operate microscopes for surgeries to perform microsurgeries. - Order, perform, and interpret results of diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, PET scans, and CT scans. - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with neurological disorders. - Develop detailed surgical plans based on diagnosis, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. - Carry out complex neurosurgical operations, including brain tumor removals and spinal surgeries. - Manage post-operative care, monitoring recovery and assessing for complications. - Work closely with neurologists, anesthetists, and radiologists to develop comprehensive care plans. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery. - Stay updated with advancements in neurosurgical techniques and participate in ongoing medical research. - Ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols.
