About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Preoperative Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients before surgeries, reviewing medical histories and conducting physical exams. - Administration of Anesthesia: Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring. - Monitoring During Surgery: Continuously monitor vital signs during surgery, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary. - Pain Management: Provide pain relief through anesthesia or sedation and manage postoperative pain. - Airway Management: Perform endotracheal intubation and other airway management procedures. - Collaboration with Surgical Teams: Work closely with surgeons and nurses to coordinate patient care. - Postoperative Care: Monitor patients in recovery, ensuring safe regaining of consciousness. - Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient monitoring.
