About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in Neonatology, you will play a crucial role in the clinical care of newborns, ensuring their health and well-being through expert medical interventions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assessing and managing the health care of newborns, including premature infants and those with congenital conditions. - Providing intensive care for critically ill neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). - Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. - Communicating effectively with families regarding their newborn's health status and treatment options. - Monitoring and assessing the development and growth of neonates during their hospital stay. - Participating in clinical research and trials to advance practices in neonatology. - Engaging in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the safety and quality of care. - Educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in neonatology.
