About the Role: As a Pulmonologist at Apollo Clinic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating diseases related to the lungs and respiratory system.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests like pulmonary function tests (PFT), bronchoscopy, and chest X-rays. - Develop personalized treatment plans, including medications, oxygen therapy, and rehabilitation programs. - Handle critical respiratory cases, including ventilator management in ICU settings. - Collaborate with thoracic surgeons, critical care specialists, and other healthcare professionals. - Educate patients on lung health, smoking cessation, and preventive care. - Stay updated on advancements in pulmonology treatments and emerging respiratory diseases. - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Manage respiratory emergencies such as acute asthma attacks, pulmonary embolism, and severe infections.
