About the Role: As a Gastroenterologist at Apollo Clinic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, ensuring optimal patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. - Perform endoscopic procedures like colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and ERCP. - Manage chronic conditions such as IBS, Crohn's disease, and hepatitis. - Interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests, imaging, and biopsies. - Collaborate with surgeons, dietitians, and other specialists for patient care. - Provide dietary and lifestyle counseling for gastrointestinal health. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. - Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology treatments and technologies. - Educate patients on disease prevention and management. - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
