About the Role: As a Diabetologist at Apollo Clinic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose, manage, and treat patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders. - Monitor blood sugar levels and adjust treatment plans accordingly. - Prescribe medications, insulin therapy, and lifestyle modifications. - Educate patients on diet, exercise, and self-management of diabetes. - Order and interpret lab tests, including HbA1c and glucose tolerance tests. - Work closely with endocrinologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals. - Manage complications such as neuropathy, nephropathy, and retinopathy. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in diabetes care and research. - Provide preventive care and screenings for at-risk individuals. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical guidelines.
