About the Role: As a Nuclear Medicine Physicist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of nuclear medicine practices. Your expertise will help protect patients, staff, and the public while optimizing imaging protocols.
What You'll Be Doing: - Ensure compliance with local, state, and national radiation protection regulations. - Develop and implement radiation safety protocols. - Conduct routine radiation surveys and monitor radiation levels. - Oversee calibration, maintenance, and performance testing of nuclear medicine equipment. - Develop and implement quality control procedures for imaging and therapy equipment. - Collaborate with nuclear medicine physicians to optimize imaging protocols. - Assist in selecting appropriate radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
