About the Role: As a Pulmonologist at Chinmaya Mission Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating respiratory diseases, impacting patient health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the respiratory system, including lungs and breathing issues. - Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. - Interpret lab results, X-rays, CT scans, and pulmonary function tests to diagnose respiratory diseases. - Treat conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer with appropriate therapies. - Recommend and prescribe medications, therapies, or lifestyle changes for respiratory health. - Provide patient education on managing chronic respiratory conditions and improving lung health. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care. - Perform bronchoscopies and other specialized procedures to assess and treat lung diseases. - Monitor the progress of patients undergoing respiratory treatments and adjust plans as needed. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in pulmonology and respiratory medicine through continuous learning and research.
