Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Resident in Emergency Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients facing life-threatening conditions.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide immediate medical care to patients with life-threatening conditions such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, trauma, and sepsis. - Assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies across all age groups. - Perform primary and secondary surveys for trauma patients and initiate appropriate management. - Coordinate patient stabilization and transfer to appropriate specialty units when required. - Manage medical crises such as myocardial infarctions, strokes, poisonings, and anaphylaxis. - Perform critical life-saving procedures, including intubation, central venous catheterization, chest tube insertion, defibrillation, and cricothyrotomy. - Conduct bedside diagnostics such as focused ultrasound and point-of-care testing (POCT). - Manage patients on mechanical ventilation and other advanced life-support equipment.
