About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or local) to patients undergoing various surgical and diagnostic procedures. - Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, including detailed patient history, physical examination, and risk assessment. - Monitor and manage patients intraoperatively, ensuring stable vital signs and patient safety. - Provide postoperative care, including pain management and monitoring in the recovery room or ICU. - Assist in managing acute and chronic pain through pharmacological and interventional approaches. - Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests, trauma, and respiratory failure, both within and outside the operating room. - Manage critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including mechanical ventilation, central line placements, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
