Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Resident in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
How You'll Contribute: - Conduct detailed assessments of pediatric patients, including history taking, clinical examination, and diagnosis. - Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit (NICU and PICU) patients. - Provide comprehensive care for common and complex pediatric illnesses and conditions. - Monitor growth and development, assess nutritional needs, and counsel parents/guardians on preventive care. - Handle vaccination schedules and provide immunization guidance. - Respond promptly to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, seizures, and trauma cases. - Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, and central line placements. - Stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate care in NICU and PICU settings.
