About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care and training to junior staff.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform thorough preoperative evaluations, including history taking, clinical examination, and ordering necessary investigations. - Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room, including elective and emergency surgeries. - Independently perform minor surgical procedures under supervision. - Provide postoperative care, including monitoring complications, wound care, and discharge planning. - Attend outpatient clinics, assess patient conditions, and plan surgical interventions as required. - Respond to surgical emergencies, including trauma and acute abdomen cases. - Stabilize critically ill patients and participate in life-saving procedures when necessary. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students. - Guide juniors during patient care, ward procedures, and surgeries. - Conduct bedside teaching sessions, clinical discussions, and skills training.
