About the Role: As an Anesthetics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess patients before surgery to determine their medical history and suitability for anesthesia. - Administer anesthesia agents (local, general, or regional) to patients during surgical or medical procedures. - Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, during anesthesia administration. - Adjust anesthesia levels as required to maintain patient stability throughout the procedure. - Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to plan and manage anesthesia care. - Provide post-operative care to monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia. - Manage pain relief post-surgery through medication or other techniques. - Maintain patient records, documenting anesthesia details, reactions, and complications. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and anesthesia standards.
