About the Role: As a Consultant Neuro Surgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the brain, spine, and nervous system, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat disorders related to the brain, spine, and nervous system through surgical and non-surgical interventions. - Perform complex neurosurgical procedures, including brain tumor removal, spinal cord surgeries, and trauma management. - Collaborate with neurologists, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. - Evaluate patients’ medical histories, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to determine appropriate treatment plans. - Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments to monitor patient progress and recovery. - Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical guidelines, and ethical standards in neurosurgical practice. - Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as MRI, CT scans, and angiograms for precise surgical planning. - Stay updated with the latest neurosurgical advancements, technologies, and research to enhance surgical outcomes. - Provide consultations, second opinions, and patient education on neurological disorders and treatment options.
