About the Role: As an Anesthetist at IRIS Multi Speciality Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assessing patients' medical history and condition to determine appropriate anesthesia options. - Administering general, regional, or local anesthesia during surgical procedures. - Monitoring patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, during anesthesia. - Adjusting anesthesia levels to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. - Managing any potential anesthesia-related complications or emergencies, such as allergic reactions or respiratory issues. - Providing postoperative care, including monitoring for side effects of anesthesia and pain management. - Collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to plan anesthesia care. - Educating patients and their families about anesthesia procedures, risks, and recovery expectations. - Maintaining accurate records of anesthesia administration, including doses and patient reactions.
