About the Role: As an ICU Registrar, you will play a crucial role in the care of critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being in the intensive care unit.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assessing and monitoring the condition of critically ill patients in the ICU. - Managing life-support equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. - Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders. - Collaborating with intensivists and other specialists to formulate patient treatment plans. - Performing procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line placement. - Ensuring timely documentation of patient status and medical interventions. - Responding to emergency situations and providing immediate medical care. - Communicating with patients' families regarding their condition and treatment options. - Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff and interns.
