About the Role: As a Senior Consultant/Consultant/Associate Consultant in Anesthetist & Critical Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing various procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures, ensuring optimal sedation and pain management. - Monitor patients during and after anesthesia to ensure stable vital signs and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies. - Provide critical care management for patients in intensive care units (ICU), including managing life support systems, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring. - Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on the patient’s medical history, surgical procedure, and specific needs. - Assess and stabilize critically ill patients, including those in emergency settings, trauma cases, and post-operative recovery. - Work closely with surgical teams, intensivists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. - Ensure proper documentation of anesthesia administration, patient monitoring, and post-operative recovery progress. - Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and critical care, incorporating new techniques, drugs, and technology into practice. - Mentor and train junior anesthesiologists, residents, and other healthcare staff in anesthesia procedures and critical care management.
