Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Neonatologist at Naruvi Hospitals, you will provide specialized care for newborns, particularly those with health complications, premature birth, or low birth weight.
How You'll Contribute: - Manage and treat conditions such as respiratory distress, infections, congenital defects, and neonatal jaundice. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and other procedures to monitor newborn health. - Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care for newborns, especially in intensive care settings like the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). - Provide resuscitation and emergency care for critically ill or premature infants. - Offer guidance and support to parents, explaining the condition of their newborns, treatment plans, and expected outcomes. - Monitor and assess the health of newborns during the first few days of life, tracking growth, feeding, and developmental milestones. - Manage the care of newborns requiring surgery or specialized interventions in collaboration with pediatric surgeons. - Educate parents on newborn care, including feeding, sleep patterns, vaccination schedules, and preventing infections.
