Your Core Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat digestive disorders, including acid reflux, ulcers, IBS, Crohn’s disease, and liver diseases. - Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP, and sigmoidoscopy. - Develop and implement treatment plans for gastrointestinal conditions. - Prescribe medications and lifestyle modifications for GI-related issues. - Collaborate with dietitians and other specialists for nutritional and metabolic health management. - Manage emergency gastrointestinal conditions such as GI bleeding and perforations. - Interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies, blood tests, and biopsies. - Counsel patients on preventative care, including screening for colon cancer and liver diseases.
