Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Ilizarov Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex limb deformities and fractures, significantly impacting patients' lives.
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and treat complex limb deformities, fractures, and limb-length discrepancies. - Perform Ilizarov technique-based orthopedic surgeries for bone reconstruction and lengthening. - Apply and manage external fixators for gradual bone correction and healing. - Monitor patient progress through X-rays and clinical assessments. - Develop personalized treatment plans, including rehabilitation strategies. - Collaborate with physiotherapists and other specialists for post-surgical recovery. - Address complications like infections, nonunion, or soft tissue issues. - Educate patients on care and maintenance of external fixators. - Stay updated on advancements in limb reconstruction techniques.
