About the Role: As a Gastroenterologist at Shiv Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. - Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. - Develop personalized treatment plans for conditions like GERD, IBS, and liver disease. - Prescribe medications, dietary changes, and lifestyle modifications to manage gastrointestinal conditions. - Collaborate with surgeons, dietitians, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology and participate in medical research. - Educate patients about digestive health, disease prevention, and treatment options. - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
