Your Core Responsibilities: - Diagnose and evaluate patients for obesity-related conditions requiring surgical intervention. - Perform weight-loss surgeries such as gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding. - Develop personalized preoperative and postoperative care plans for patients. - Collaborate with dietitians, endocrinologists, and psychologists to provide holistic patient care. - Educate patients about lifestyle changes, dietary modifications, and exercise post-surgery. - Manage potential surgical complications, including infections, leaks, or nutritional deficiencies. - Stay updated on advancements in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted bariatric procedures. - Conduct follow-up evaluations to monitor weight loss progress and overall health. - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols.
