About the Role: As a Microbiologist at MGM Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing infections and ensuring patient safety through microbiological testing.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform microbiological testing on clinical, environmental, and food samples. - Identify and analyze bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites to diagnose infections. - Conduct antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) to determine treatment options. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for infection control measures. - Monitor and prevent the spread of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). - Develop and maintain quality control standards for laboratory testing. - Ensure compliance with biosafety and biosecurity regulations in the lab.
