About the Role: As a Neurology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, impacting the lives of patients with conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, and Parkinson's disease.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and migraines. - Perform detailed neurological exams and interpret diagnostic tests, including CT scans, MRIs, and EEGs. - Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions, including medication and therapy. - Provide emergency care for acute neurological conditions like strokes or seizures. - Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological conditions. - Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on response to therapy. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology, including new treatments and diagnostic tools. - Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures, nerve conduction studies, and Botox injections for specific conditions.
