About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Ophthalmology, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with ophthalmic conditions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide outpatient and inpatient care for patients with ophthalmic conditions. - Assist in performing diagnostic procedures and surgeries under faculty guidance. - Manage ophthalmic emergencies such as trauma, acute glaucoma, etc. - Conduct routine eye examinations, refraction, and minor procedures. - Participate in academic activities like seminars, journal clubs, and case presentations. - Teach and guide undergraduate students and interns during clinical postings. - Supervise junior residents in ward, OPD, and operating room settings. - Maintain comprehensive documentation including case notes and operative records. - Engage in departmental research, audits, and publications.
