About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients under the supervision of experienced faculty.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care under supervision of faculty. - Assist in performing emergency and elective surgical procedures. - Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of surgical patients. - Participate in ward rounds, case presentations, and surgical audits. - Supervise and guide junior residents and interns during clinical duties. - Conduct minor surgical procedures independently where appropriate. - Maintain proper documentation including case notes, consent, and operative records. - Participate in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. - Engage in departmental academic activities, research, and publications.
