About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Psychiatry, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical care to patients with psychiatric disorders, contributing to their recovery and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide clinical care to patients with psychiatric disorders in OPD and IPD settings. - Assist in psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and management under faculty supervision. - Manage psychiatric emergencies and liaison psychiatry services. - Participate in individual and group psychotherapy sessions where applicable. - Support teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. - Conduct case presentations, journal clubs, and departmental academic activities. - Supervise and mentor interns and junior residents during their postings. - Maintain accurate case records, mental status examinations, and treatment plans. - Contribute to departmental research, data collection, and scientific publications.
