About the Role: As a Gastroenterology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. - Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, upper GI endoscopies, and biopsies. - Interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging studies, and biopsies. - Develop personalized treatment plans for conditions like acid reflux, IBD, liver diseases, and colorectal cancer. - Provide preventive care, including screenings for gastrointestinal cancers and advising on healthy digestive practices. - Manage chronic gastrointestinal disorders like IBS, Crohn’s disease, and cirrhosis. - Collaborate with other medical specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Educate patients about managing gastrointestinal health and lifestyle changes. - Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
