About the Role: As a Clinical Pharmacologist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing drug therapy for patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safety and efficacy.
What You'll Be Doing: - Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal drug therapy for patients. - Review patient medication histories and recommend adjustments to avoid drug interactions and adverse reactions. - Monitor and assess the effectiveness and safety of medications prescribed to patients. - Participate in patient rounds, providing expert advice on pharmacology and drug therapy. - Assist in developing and implementing hospital drug formulary and therapeutic protocols. - Conduct research on drug efficacy, safety, and side effects, providing evidence-based recommendations. - Educate healthcare staff and patients about proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions. - Analyze adverse drug reactions and help manage pharmacovigilance procedures.
