About the Role: As a GI Surgeon at Medanta Hospital, you will play a crucial role in performing advanced surgical procedures on the gastrointestinal tract and related organs, ensuring optimal patient care and recovery.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform advanced surgical procedures on the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and related organs. - Diagnose and treat diseases such as colorectal cancer, liver tumors, pancreatitis, and GI bleeding. - Conduct laparoscopic and open surgeries as per case requirements. - Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, and radiologists for integrated patient care. - Evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively and ensure optimal recovery. - Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up documentation. - Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and medical advancements. - Train and supervise junior doctors and surgical staff. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety, and infection control standards.
