About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients under the guidance of experienced consultants.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in and perform general surgical procedures under supervision. - Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients. - Manage emergency surgical cases, trauma, and critical care patients. - Ensure proper wound care, dressing changes, and post-surgical monitoring. - Guide and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students. - Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and academic teachings. - Collaborate with anesthetists, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Refer complex cases to higher specialties when needed.
