About the Role: As a Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing cardiac surgeries.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries and procedures. - Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as required during surgery. - Collaborate with the surgical and medical team to plan and assess anesthetic requirements. - Ensure patient safety by managing anesthesia risks and reacting to any changes in condition. - Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing patient history and performing necessary tests. - Maintain anesthesia equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly during procedures. - Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients for any complications after surgery. - Keep accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient reactions. - Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols during anesthesia procedures. - Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia risks and aftercare.
