About the Role: As a Gastro Surgeon at Medanta Hospital, you will play a crucial role in performing advanced surgical procedures on the gastrointestinal tract, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform advanced surgical procedures on the gastrointestinal tract, including esophagus, stomach, intestines, and liver. - Diagnose and treat conditions such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding. - Collaborate with gastroenterologists and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Interpret diagnostic tests including endoscopy, CT scans, MRI, and biopsy results. - Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans. - Perform both open and minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopic and robotic techniques. - Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress. - Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation.
