About the Role: As an Intensivist at Park Hospital, you will lead and manage critically ill patients in the ICU, making a significant impact on patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Lead and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU. - Monitor and treat patients with life-threatening conditions, including multi-organ failure, sepsis, respiratory distress, and post-operative complications. - Implement evidence-based protocols for critical care management. - Perform and supervise advanced life support procedures such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, and central line placement. - Handle cardiac arrests, sepsis management, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilatory support. - Conduct bedside procedures like arterial line insertion, chest tube placement, and bronchoscopy. - Collaborate with consultants, surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care. - Guide junior doctors, registrars, and ICU nursing teams on treatment plans. - Ensure smooth communication with other hospital departments regarding ICU admissions, transfers, and discharges.
