About the Role: As a Physician Assistant at Viveka Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care under physician supervision.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and lab reports. - Diagnose and manage common illnesses and injuries under physician supervision. - Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans. - Prescribe medications as per local regulations and physician approval. - Perform minor surgical procedures, wound care, suturing, and injections. - Assist in major surgeries as a first or second assistant. - Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment plans. - Provide guidance on lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and preventive care. - Address patient concerns and answer medical inquiries.
