About the Role: As an Anesthetist at Viveka Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate patients' medical history and determine appropriate anesthesia plans. - Conduct pre-anesthetic checkups and risk assessments. - Educate patients on anesthesia options, risks, and postoperative care. - Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as per procedural requirements. - Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels). - Adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient stability and comfort. - Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). - Manage acute and chronic pain through medications and nerve blocks. - Respond to any anesthesia-related complications or emergencies.
